LSPCA VISITORS FROM THE HUMANE SOCIETY INTERNATIONAL GET DETAINED!!
LSPCA has visitors from the Humane Society International who have come to conduct several workshops on animal welfare and a survey on dog population. On one of their duties on the dog population survey, the visitors found themselves at the Kamuzu Barracks. Unfortunately, they trespassed into the barracks to count dogs. The officials at the barracks were not even informed that these people will be coming into their premises to conduct the survey. This led to the detention of the HSI guys at the Headquarters for a good number of hours where they were asked some questions. Lucky enough, they did not spend a night there as things were sorted out, but they left with a piece of advice to use the right procedures next time. Well, that was a lesson well learnt!
